Director's Vision

A Cinematic Exploration of Memory and Identity

My work centres on inspiration, collaboration, and interpreting signs. My soul needs to be nourished by a story and then I have to share that passion with other artists and ultimately the audience. Kelly brought me Quiet Logic, a script rich in poetry, music, and symbolism - my creative junk food - and after many rabbit holes, we created a safe space for Nara and Kai's story to be nurtured. All the while, the universe continued to speak to us - sometimes deafening and loud, sometimes gentle and quiet. Always in alignment!

In a world dominated by digital representation, Quiet Logic is an intimate tale exploring what remains after we disconnect. It exists in those in-between places in our memory where things are just lost forever and pain can overwhelm us. It is raw - no photo app to manipulate the stillness. Just our thoughts, our minds, and our hearts to edit the memories.

I hope audiences trust us enough to join this journey, quiet their minds, open their hearts, and experience whatever the universe offers. Read the signs!

A Note from the Writer

Quiet Logic was born during a period of forced stillness. I was pulled out of the pace of my life and began reflecting on love, memory, identity, and the fragile beauty of human connection. I noticed how small moments shape us in ways we only understand later. I began to see love not just in joy, but in loss, longing, and the spaces in between. I am drawn to the serendipitous encounters and unexplainable signs that seem to guide us - the quiet logic of the universe...

This story is deeply personal. Growing up between two cultures, I have often felt suspended between worlds - belonging everywhere and nowhere at once. That in-between identity lives in Nara and Kai. Their love is shaped by different histories and emotional languages.

As a mother, I now also see my daughters growing up in a world where technology increasingly overrides real-life connection - where identity is shaped early through visibility. This adds another layer of urgency to the story: a desire to hold onto something real, before it becomes something else.

“At its core, this story is about the courage to love deeply, and about finding beauty in both the light and the shadow.”
